Internationalistisches Jugendfestival 13. Juli 2019 in Euskirchen

Am 13. Juli 2019 werden wir, als Bündnis von Jugendverbänden, unser 1. Internationalistische Jugendfestival unter dem Motto „Smash Fascism, not the Planet“ in Euskirchen durchführen.

Wir möchten mit unserem Festival Jugendliche aus ganz Europa zusammen bringen, um sich gegenseitig über die Probleme und Kämpfe in ihren Ländern auszutauschen, sich kennenzulernen und neue Alternativen gegen das herrschende System zu entwickeln. Wir möchten mit unserem Festival vor allem auf den weltweiten Rechtsruck und die Bedrohung des gesamten Planeten durch das kapitalistische System aufmerksam machen.

Wir werden anknüpfen an die Jugend die sowohl in der Geschichte als auch heute, sei es in Brasilien, Türkei oder hier in der Eifel, stets gegen Ungerechtigkeit und Faschismus Widerstand geleistet hat und welche mit der „Fridays for Future“ Bewegung ihre Reaktion gegen die enorme Zerstörung und Ausbeutung unserer Umwelt gezeigt hat und gleichzeitig deutlich machen, dass eine ökologische Welt nur durch die Überwindung des kapitalistischen Systems möglich ist. Was uns alle verbindet ist der Glaube an eine gerechtere, freiere und ökologischere Welt jenseits von Patriarchat, Klassenhierarchie und Ausbeutung. Wir möchten ein Zeichen setzen gegen Umweltzerstörung, Armut, Hunger, Krieg, Sexismus und Rassismus, welche alle Resultate der kapitalistischen Mentalität und Ordnung sind.

Wir glauben jedoch, dass allein der Protest nicht ausreicht, um gegen erstarkenden Faschismus und Klimakrise anzugehen. Was wir brauchen sind Alternativen. Wir wollen einen Ort schaffen für Vernetzung von Kämpfen von Gruppen und Einzelpersonen. Wir können Teil der Lösung sein, zu einer weltweiten Bewegung gehören. Diese Lösung erfordert aber mehr als im kleinen Protest und Aktivismus zu organisieren. Deshalb vernetzt euch mit anderen, die auch schon aktiv sind.

In diesem Punkt möchten wir mit unserem Festival auf den Freiheitskampf in Kurdistan aufmerksam machen, welche mit der Rojava Revolution eine greifbare Alternative zum kapitalistischen System erschaffen hat. Rojava bedeutet für uns der Kampf um Frauenbefreiung, Ökologie und Basisdemokratie. Aus diesem Grund möchten wir mit unserem Festival gleichzeitig, gemeinsam den Sieg der Menschen in Rojava und Nordsyrien gegen den IS feiern, die gezeigt haben, dass durch einen gemeinsamen Kampf eine bessere Welt möglich ist.

Unser 1. Internationalistisches Jugendfestival wird in dieser Hinsicht ein reiches Festival, in der verschiedene Kulturen und politische Bewegungen aufeinander treffen. Es wird reichlich Musik und Tanz geben. Kurdische und baskische Widerstandslieder und Musik aus verschiedenen Ländern werden gespielt werden. Gleichzeitig wird es mehrere Workshop-Zelte geben, in denen wir uns zu verschieden Themen austauschen, Diskussionen führen und Perspektiven entwickeln. Auch sportliche Aktivitäten werden unser Festival bereichern.

Wir laden alle ein an unserem 1. internationalistischen Jugendfestival teilzunehmen, und mit uns gemeinsam ein klares Zeichen gegen Faschismus und Naturzerstörung und für eine bessere Welt ohne Klassen und Ausbeutung zu setzen!

Bi vê festivalê em dixwazin ciwanên ji hemû Ewrûpayê kom bikin, ji bo em hev du nasbikin, pirsgirek û tekoşîna xwe niqaşbikin û alternatifên nû li diji pergala desthilatdar biafrînin. Bi festivala xwe em dixwazin bala li ser pêşketina faşizmê û xirakirina xwezayê ji ber tesîra pergala kapîtalîst.

Em li ser şopên ciwanên ku hem di dîrokê de, hem jî di roja me ya îro de li dijî bêedaletî û faşizmê berxweda û yên ku îro bi tevgera ‘Fridays For Future’ ji bo parastina xwezayê têkoşîn dikin dimeşin. Lê em dixwazin diyar bikin ku cihanekê ekolojîk tenê bi derbaskirina pergala kapîtalîst mumkîn be. "Smash Fascism, not the Planet"

Internationalist Youth Festival 13 July 2019 in Euskirchen

On 13 July 2019 we, as an alliance of youth associations, will hold our 1st International Youth Festival under the motto "Smash Fascism, not the Planet" in Euskirchen.


With our festival we would like to bring together young people from all over Europe to exchange information about the problems and struggles in their countries, to get to know each other and to develop new alternatives against the ruling system. With our festival we want to draw attention to the worldwide shift to the right and the capitalist system's threat to the entire planet.

We will follow up on the youth who have always resisted injustice and fascism both in history and today, be it in Brazil, Turkey or here in the Eifel, and who with the "Fridays for Future" movement have shown their reaction against the enormous destruction and exploitation of our environment and at the same time make clear that an ecological world is only possible by overcoming the capitalist system. What unites us all is the belief in a more just, free and ecological world beyond patriarchy, class hierarchy and exploitation. We want to send a signal against environmental destruction, poverty, hunger, war, sexism and racism, which are all results of the capitalist mentality and order.

We believe, however, that protest alone is not enough to tackle the growing fascism and climate crisis. What we need are alternatives. We want to create a place for networking struggles of groups and individuals. We can be part of the solution, part of a worldwide movement. But this solution requires more than just organizing small protests and activism. Therefore network with others who are already active.

On this point we would like to draw attention with our festival to the freedom struggle in Kurdistan, which with the Rojava Revolution has created a tangible alternative to the capitalist system. For us, Rojava means the struggle for women's liberation, ecology and grassroots democracy. For this reason we would like to celebrate together with our festival the victory of the peoples in Rojava and Northern Syria against the IS, who have shown that a better world is possible through a common struggle.

In this respect, our 1st International Youth Festival will be a rich festival where different cultures and political movements meet. There will be plenty of music and dance. Kurdish and Basque resistance songs and music from different countries will be played. At the same time there will be several workshop tents where we will exchange ideas on different topics, have discussions and develop perspectives. Sports activities will also enrich our festival.

We invite everyone to take part in our 1st international youth festival and together with us to set a clear sign against fascism and destruction of nature and for a better world without classes and exploitation!
